The senior choir is offered to students from years 3 to 6. Auditions are held at the start of each school year for
students with a passion for singing. The senior choir performs throughout the year, both at school and in public
venues and repertoire consists of a variety of popular music and also more traditional choral classics.
The choir is run by Mrs Kelly Turner and Mr James Shapowloff. Students learn how to sing as part of an ensemble,
whilst provided with the opportunity to practise their performance skills in a safe and fun environment. The choir also
forms the main body of the Kaleen Primary Christmas Choir, which tours and performs at retirement villages and
shopping centres at the end of each year.
